Your Role at Everything Safety
As an Outside Sales Representative at Everything Safety, your role is a key part of our sales strategy, focusing on maintaining relationships with current customers while driving new business growth. You manage existing accounts while seeking out new opportunities in the oilfield, construction, and industrial sectors. Your expertise in safety products and customer service ensures our clients receive tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.
You work independently in the field, visiting client sites, building relationships, and collaborating closely with the internal team to ensure high-quality service, product availability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
· Identify and target new customers within your assigned territory and industry segments.
· Develop and execute strategies for new customer acquisition by presenting Everything Safety’s products and services.
· Create and deliver customized sales proposals, focusing on the customer’s safety needs and budget.
· Negotiate pricing and contracts to develop long-term customer relationships.
· Collaborate with the inside sales team to develop sales strategies that help retain and grow current customer accounts.
Industry Knowledge & Market Insights
· Stay current on industry trends, safety regulations, and new products available in the safety supply market.
· Provide feedback to the team on customer demands, product preferences, and industry changes.
· Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance business development efforts.
Expectations & Skills
· Minimum of 3 years recent experience in sales, account management, or customer service (preferably in safety, oilfield, or industrial sectors).
· Strong relationship-building skills, with a consultative sales approach.
· Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to manage accounts independently.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, AI, and sales tracking tools.
· Willingness to travel locally to meet with clients and attend industry events.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
