Store Manager
Your Role at Everything Safety
As the Store Manager, you are a key leader in ensuring the daily operations of Everything Safety run smoothly. Your leadership helps create a positive shopping experience for our customers while maintaining an organized, efficient, and profitable store. You are responsible for overseeing sales, inventory, customer service, and team management to ensure our store remains the trusted source for high-quality PPE, FR workwear, and safety supplies in the Bakken region.
Primary Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
· Lead and support the sales team to provide exceptional customer service.
· Train and mentor employees on product knowledge, sales techniques, and store procedures.
· Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment.
· Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Sales & Customer Service
· Drive sales by engaging with customers and ensuring staff provides expert guidance on safety products.
· Maintain strong relationships with local businesses and safety coordinators to understand their needs.
· Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints to ensure satisfaction and retention.
· Monitor sales performance and work with the team to achieve store goals.
Inventory & Store Operations
· Ensure proper stock levels by working with the warehouse team and vendors.
· Oversee inventory counts and restocking to prevent shortages or overstock.
· Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and product displays for a professional appearance.
· Process transactions, returns, and exchanges while maintaining accuracy in the POS system and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Process Improvement & Business Growth
· Identify opportunities to improve store efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
· Work with leadership to implement strategies that increase sales and profitability.
· Stay informed on industry trends, safety regulations, and new products to keep Everything Safety competitive.
Additional Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
· Greet customers and assist them with product selection based on their safety needs.
· Provide expert advice on PPE, FR clothing, and other safety products.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring repeat business.
Product Knowledge & Store Maintenance
· Maintain a deep understanding of our product lines and evolving safety standards.
· Keep shelves stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
· Assist with receiving and processing new inventory shipments.
Expectations & Skills
· Strong leadership and team management abilities.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of safety products, PPE, and FR clothing is a plus (or willingness to learn).
· Experience in retail sales, inventory management, or team leadership preferred.
· Basic computer skills, including POS systems and inventory management tools.
· Help where needed in store.
