The Oakley Standard Issue Ballistic Shocktube™ merges comfort and safety. In other words, this frame has an ‘upper and lower jaw that assure maximum impact protection. The lenses are easy to replace with the provided hex-key providing a seamless transition.  In addition, features an Unobtanium™ nosepiece that provides a strong level of comfort while also making the frame suitable for wet environments. Plus, the SI Shocktube dons Plutonite® Lenses that yield 100% UV protection from blue light up to 400nm as well as UVA, UVB, and UVC.

Along with the HDO® technology, the Oakley Shocktube has optimal optical clarity. Lenses are held in place with a Three-Point Fit that maintains optical alignment as well as removing pressure with frames that rest on the ears. The rubber nosepiece and the lightweight frame, courtesy of the O-Matter™ stress-resistant frame material, resulting in all day comfort. While the frame looks good, it still values the safety and it meets MIL-SPEC MIL PRF 32432 and surpasses ANSI Z87.1 (2015) Industrial Standards for high mass and high-velocity impact protection.
